Bath Time Essentials

With all that is going on in the world who can blame us for taking a few more baths than usual. Mostly to wind down the day, but every now and then a midday bath just feels about right! Bath time for me is indulgent, all about relaxation & rejuvenation so I have accumulated all the things that help bring me that peace at the end of the day.  Which might be why I find and excuse to take a bath most days!

1)      DISCONNECT

The most important part of bath time. Leaving your phone in the other room. This is the time to take for you, not to scroll endless pages of nothing or to catch up on the news. Take this moment for what it is & power off.

2)      FRESH SMELLS

Probably the most essential of my essentials. I flip between lavender essential oils in the diffuser & a fresh (nontoxic) candle. Sometimes that misty aroma from the diffuser is all I need to relax the night away, but I also love having the element of fire for ambient lighting whilst I bathe.

3)      SOFT SOAKS

I love having a mix of clay and salt in my soak! Nothing that smells too pungent but something to soften & soothe.

4)      GOOD MUSIC

Create your own spa & sanctuary by listening to relaxation music or breathing through a meditation. Both have been great ways for me to completely let go of the day and have some time to de-stress.

Now, go relax, and take a bath :)
